Carrot English is a bit neglected vegetable because of its hybrid properties. However, this vegetable is one of the richest sources of nutrition. This root vegetable belongs to the Apiaceae family.
1. Roasted Carrot Fries
Ingredients: 4 carrot English, 1½ tbsp oil, salt, 1 tsp black pepper, 1 tsp garlic powder, ½ tsp paprika, 1 tsp oregano, and ¼ cup grated parmesan.
Cooking steps: Cut the carrots into thin sticks and mix all the ingredients together. Bake at 200 degrees C for 15–20 minutes. A tasty snack is ready, which can be served along with some ketchup.
2. Carrot Soup
Ingredients: 200 grams chopped carrot English, 1 medium chopped onion, 1 tsp chopped ginger, 1 tsp chopped garlic, salt, 1 tsp black pepper powder, a pinch of dried oregano, a pinch of dried basil leaves, and 10 grams salted butter.
Cooking steps: Boil all the vegetables and grind them into a fine paste. Add spices to the paste and add water according to the thickness that you want. Add salted butter and boil the soup for 2–3 minutes. Serve it hot. You can garnish with some coriander leaves.
