It is found in South America and considered as the direct ancestor of the cultivated tomato. It is shaped like the thumb tip to the size of a golf ball. It is sweeter than other large tomatoes and has hundreds of varieties.  The generic makeup of the cherry tomato remains the same as other tomatoes.

Ingredients: Pasta, olive oil, pint cherry tomatoes, black pepper, and basil

Cooking Steps: Cook pasta first in boiling water. On the other hand, add garlic, tomatoes, pepper in a saucepan and then cook until cherry tomatoes release their juices. Then pasta tosses with the sauce and top with the Parmesan.


2. Roasted Cherry Tomato Caprese

Ingredients: Take Cherry tomatoes, sprigs thyme, Olive oil, Mozzarella, Sea salt, and bread

Cooking Steps: Firstly, preheat the oven at 180 degrees and then toss the tomatoes, oil, and garlic on the baking sheets. Seasoned lightly with salt and roast the tomatoes until they turn brown. Spread mozzarella on it and serve with olive oil.
