Overview

Sweet neem belongs to a family of tropical to the sub-tropical tree. These leaves are used in many dishes and they add flavour, taste, and nutrition to our food.

It is a small tree with aromatic broad green leaves and contains small white flowers with black drupe fruit which is also known as stone fruit.

Sweet Neem generally grows in well-drained soil areas with plenty of sunshine avoiding wind in the temperature of 18° C or 65° F.

Recipes


1. Sweet Neem Juice 

Ingredients: 1 cup sweet green neem leaves, salt as required

 

Cooking Steps: Take one clean bowl with one cup of fresh sweet green neem leaves. Wash the neem leaves with clean water and strain the water using a strainer. Place the neem leaves in a mixed jar and add an equal amount of water for the blend. Place or serve it in a bowl now as it’s ready to drink and according to taste sprinkle a little amount of salt.

 

2. Sweet Neem Sauce

Ingredients: 1 cup of sweet green neem leaves, salt, red pepper, 2 raw green chilies, and water as needed

 

Cooking Steps: Take one clean bowl with one cup of fresh sweet green neem leaves. Wash the neem leaves with clean water and strain the water using a strainer. Place the neem leaves in a mixed jar, add raw green chillies, 1 teaspoon of red chili and add an equal amount of water for making sauce. Serve it in a bowl and now it is ready to eat with fritters.
