About Seller: Established in 1976, Advanced Chemical Sensors (ACS) was created with the goal of enhancing the measurement methods for toxic vapors regulated by the U.S. Occupational Safety and Health Administration. A revolutionary passive monitoring technique was developed to replace the traditional sampling tube method, eliminating the need for a mechanical pump to collect air samples. This innovative approach utilizes a solid adsorbent separated from the ambient air by a porous membrane, effectively acting as a pump without any moving parts. The ACS badge was conceptualized, offering significant cost savings and ease of use, making it widely applicable for measuring employee exposure and room concentrations of various chemicals.
Healthcare facilities, government agencies, and many of the largest industrial corporations utilize ACS badges to monitor employee exposure levels. The ACS laboratory is accredited by the American Industrial Hygiene Association Laboratory Accreditation Program, LLC (AIHA-LAP, LLC). The accuracy of the nitrous oxide monitor badges has been evaluated by the American Dental Association (ADA), which confirmed the reliability of our monitoring badge. In contrast, monitoring badges from two other companies were found to be inadequate.
