About Seller: Anpec was established in 1968 as a general machine shop operating manual lathes and mills in a 5,000 square foot building. Over the years, Anpec has evolved into a 26,000 square foot, fully air conditioned facility equipped with twenty Mazak CNC machines, including various axis lathes, and vertical and horizontal multi-pallet machining centers. The company acquired its first CNC lathe in 1973 and a second in 1978, leading to an expansion to 8,000 square feet. Anpec navigated through the 1981 recession and began production machining of forgings for forging houses, experiencing steady growth throughout the 1980s. In 1990, Anpec expanded its CNC equipment to include six Mazaks, three lathes, and three Vertical milling machines. Following a reorganization in the mid-90s, with the retirement of two of the original founders, Doug Allen and Brad Wagner assumed ownership roles and introduced the latest manufacturing technology, shop management practices, and quality programs. This resulted in an expanded customer base in new markets while maintaining a focus on high-quality machining of customer forgings, primarily in the recreational vehicle (ATVs and motorcycles) industry. Anpec's precision machining operations adhere to specifications within .001". From 1995 to 2005, Anpec further expanded to a 26,000 square foot, fully air conditioned facility with a total of twenty Mazak CNC machines, including lathes, vertical milling machines, and horizontal milling machines. The company also developed in-house internal broaching capability. In 2002, Anpec obtained ISO 9001:2000 registration. Anpec's growth continued with a building expansion of 13,000 square feet in 2003 to accommodate existing customers and allow for future manufacturing activities.
