About Seller: Bill Trometer founded Asheville Thermoform Plastics in October 1998 to meet the demand for custom plastic thermoforming services in the southeast. Initially focusing on dunnage and thin gauge packaging trays produced with hand-made molds and fixtures, our capabilities have since expanded. With the incorporation of 5-axis CNC routing machines, solid modeling technology, coordinate measuring machine, and additional forming equipment, we are now able to design, reverse engineer, and manufacture precision components in heavy gauge as well as thin for various industries such as communications, medical, and construction. The company is now being led by a second generation of the family, positioning us for further growth. We currently operate out of our own 15,000 square foot building on five acres of industrial land with room for expansion. Our services include design, tooling, prototypes, and full production runs all in-house to ensure quick lead times and superior quality. Asheville Thermoform Plastics is located in Fletcher, North Carolina, just south of Asheville, conveniently positioned near major cities such as Charlotte, Greenville, SC, and Knoxville, TN.
