About Seller: In response to a demand for customized plastic thermoforming services in the southeastern region, Bill Trometer established Asheville Thermoform Plastics in October 1998, within a 2,400 square foot incubator facility. Initially specializing in dunnage and thin gauge packaging trays produced with handmade molds and fixtures, our capabilities have since grown and adapted. By incorporating 5-axis CNC routing machines, solid modeling technology, coordinate measuring machines, and additional forming equipment, we now have the capacity to design, reverse engineer, and manufacture precision components in heavy and thin gauges for various industries, including communications, medical, and construction. A second generation of our family is currently overseeing the company's expansion, and we are now the owners of a 15,000 square foot building located on five acres of industrial land, primed for further development. Our facility in Fletcher, North Carolina, conveniently situated about five minutes south of Asheville, 111 miles west of Charlotte, 45 miles north of Greenville, SC, and 124 miles east of Knoxville, TN, offers comprehensive services including design, tooling, prototypes, and full production runs, all under one roof to ensure short lead times and exceptional quality.
