Castle) and Lou Spitsen (formerly of Pacific Tube), Bergsen initially operated as a distribution center for cold finished carbon products in Downey, California. In response to changing market demands, Bergsen began breaking bundles in 1986 to better serve its customers. Following its acquisition by Kiveton Park "Holdings" LTD in 1987, Bergsen expanded its services to include saw cutting and additional product lines. In 2005, Bergsen further expanded its services to offer next-day local deliveries to meet the needs of its customers. Since relocating in 2006, Bergsen has continued to expand its product line and services to cater to the aerospace and commercial industries.
