Our two passionate General Managers had a vision to merge the efforts of two facilities to create synergies that would greatly enhance speed to market and enhance our customers' experience. The Koch Division (Rochester, NY) is led by Kristen Erwin, and the Empire Division (Syracuse, NY) is led by Jason Crouch. BCI (Buckeye Corrugated, Inc.) New York specializes in manufacturing corrugated packaging, including retail/shelf ready designs and shipping cartons. Our customers have praised us for our ability to ask the right questions to understand their challenges, concerns, and frustrations with corrugated packaging. By working together, we analyze the data to develop solutions that lead to continuous improvement and cost reduction. We offer various solutions to our current customers for continuous improvement, including Performance Based Specification, Labor Cost-Reducing Designs, Space and Touches-Reducing Options, Uptime on Automated Lines, and the support of 9 BCI Divisions for Multiple Production Locations. Recycling all paper waste from the converting process is a key part of our commitment to minimizing our impact on the environment. This year, Koch Division (Rochester, NY) and Empire Division (Syracuse, NY) recycled a total of 3,857 Tons back to the recycling mills. The Empire Division (Syracuse, NY) is currently undergoing a relocation from their current 60,000 square feet manufacturing space to a new 190,000 square feet facility with two new pieces of equipment.
