About Seller: Chicago Metal Manufacturing Company was established in 1908 and later acquired by George F. Hauf in 1923. In 1984, Chicago Metal Rolled Products (CMRP) was established, specializing in the curving of steel and aluminum structural members, as well as sheet and plate materials. Over the years, CMRP has expanded its capabilities, including the acquisition of the largest angle roll in the Western hemisphere in 1992 and Wallace Tube in 1994 to enhance pipe- and tube-bending capacities. Through strategic investments, CMRP has significantly reduced turnaround times and implemented an on-time delivery program, maintaining a 98-percent on-time shipping record. In 1999, CMRP began operating the world's largest structural roll-curving machine in a state-of-the-art 100,000-square-foot facility. Additionally, CMRP has developed technology to bend structurals to extremely tight radiuses with minimal distortion and expanded its capabilities to include rolling of larger diameter pipes. In 2002, CMRP introduced compound rolling, off-axis rolling, and helical rolling techniques for various structural steel applications. To better serve customers in the central, southern, and western United States, CMRP opened a new rolling facility in Kansas City, MO in 2004.
