About Seller: Columbia Research Laboratories is a privately held, woman-owned small business located in Woodlyn, Pennsylvania, near the Philadelphia Airport. Our facilities encompass 20,000 square feet of modern offices for clerical, management, and engineering functions, as well as product development and environmental test laboratories, and efficient production hardware manufacturing and test centers. Within our 2,000 square foot environmental test lab, we have two computer-controlled centrifuges used for setting up and calibrating our Linear Servo product line, capable of generating static accelerations up to 200 G's. Additionally, we have a dual centrifuge system that uniquely allows for dynamic +/- G modulation of a specimen under constant static acceleration. Another centrifuge at our facility provides static acceleration at temperature, successfully accelerating sensors to over 600 G at temperature. We also maintain a 1,500 square foot clean room for precision torque mechanism assembly. Our piezoelectric product test laboratory features three calibration-grade vibration shaker systems and two smaller temperature/vibration measurement systems. We offer Hopkinson Bar and Avco Drop Test Shock Generation Test Stands with digital computing oscilloscope displays. Production accelerometer insert level cross-axis measurements are carried out on our 360-degree variable rotation 10 Hz slide table cross-axis test stand. Design qualification base strain performance measurements can be conducted with a shaker-driven beam test configuration. The first floor of our facility houses Alibert Industries, a fully-equipped 4,000 square foot machine shop with the latest CNC milling and machining equipment. Alibert Industries exclusively subcontracts to Columbia Research to fulfill our product development and production metal fabrication needs. What sets Columbia apart from competitors is our ability to keep all manufacturing processes in-house and customize any sensor in our line to meet specific application requirements, thereby reducing development costs.
