About Seller: Columbia Research Laboratories is a privately held, woman-owned small business based in Woodlyn, Pennsylvania, near the Philadelphia Airport. Our facility spans 20,000 square feet and includes modern clerical, management, and engineering offices, product development and environmental test laboratories, as well as efficient production hardware manufacturing and test centers. Within our 2,000 square foot environmental test lab, we have two computer-controlled centrifuges used for the setup and final calibration of our Linear Servo product line, capable of generating static accelerations up to 200 G's. Our unique centrifuge systems allow for dynamic +/- G modulation of a specimen under constant static acceleration, as well as static acceleration at temperature, successfully achieving accelerations of over 600 G. A 1,500 square foot clean room is dedicated to the assembly of our precision torque mechanisms. Our piezoelectric product test laboratory features three calibration-grade vibration shaker systems and additional temperature/vibration measurement systems. Production accelerometer testing includes cross axis measurements on a 360-degree variable rotation 10 Hz slide table cross axis test stand. Design qualification base strain performance measurements are conducted using a shaker-driven beam test configuration. The first floor of our facility houses Alibert Industries, a 4,000 square foot machine shop equipped with the latest CNC milling and machining technology. Alibert Industries exclusively subcontract to Columbia Research, meeting all product development and production metal fabrication needs. What sets Columbia apart from competitors is our ability to handle all manufacturing processes in-house and customize any sensor in our line to meet specific application requirements, reducing development costs.
