About Seller: Davis Machine was established in Birmingham, Alabama in 1954 by Doug Davis, starting in a 400 square foot garage with one employee. The company initially focused on steel mill related projects for local foundries. Over time, Mr. Davis was joined by his sons, Mike and Jeff Davis. In 1986, Davis Machine relocated to a 12,000 square foot facility in Calera, Alabama, where the team grew to 12 employees. Due to increased demand for high-quality work, the company expanded its operations by acquiring large CNC and conventional equipment, along with an additional 38,000 square feet of space. While the headquarters remains in Calera, Davis Machine has thrived under the leadership of the Davis Brothers. The company now boasts five buildings totaling 50,000 square feet, including a dedicated sand/paint facility, and has a crane capacity of 50 tons. Today, Davis Machine specializes in contract manufacturing of custom engineered products that involve machining, fabrication, and assembly.
