About Seller: Our company was established in Ohio in 1987 with the purpose of distributing urethane belts to distributors, installers, and OEMs. In 1991, the company was acquired by Mr. Jim Hammond, a physicist with previous experience at Jet Propulsion Labs and as Director of Technology at Atlantic Richfield Corp (ARCO). Mr. Hammond aimed to introduce advanced technology to the belting industry, including a quality control system that served as a precursor to ISO 9000 standards. Within a year, the company rebranded as DuraBelt to coincide with the launch of two new proprietary products: a Super-Strong welding process and a more durable urethane material known as Cyclothane-A. In 1994, DuraBelt introduced the "World's Longest Belt Warranty," which remains the longest fixed-duration written warranty for urethane belting in the world � lasting for two full years. Over time, DuraBelt has developed numerous innovative products, such as a unique color process for belting, anti-snag flat belts, anti-vibration belts, Long-Life HT belts made from Cyclothane-B, the patented Speedy Belt Installer, and other specialized belts designed for various environments. The company continuously introduces new products, many of which are inspired by customer feedback. DuraBelt operates a cutting-edge manufacturing facility in Hilliard, Ohio, constructed in 1995 specifically for the production of urethane belting and related accessories for conveyors. With the capacity to run three shifts and the equivalent of 48 employees, DuraBelt is capable of producing approximately 60,000 O-ring belts per day. DuraBelt's products are distributed globally and are integral to various industries, including food and mail transportation. The company's mission is to manufacture innovative, high-quality products, offer them at a fair profit, and provide exceptional service in a positive work environment.
