About Seller: In 1960, a group of six families identified the growing demand in the rapidly expanding high-tech industries for consistently superior electronic components. They also recognized the need for suppliers who understood their clients' requirements and could provide specialized services and products to meet those needs. As a result, Electronic Fasteners Inc. (EFI) was established that same year in a small office in South Boston. The primary goal of EFI was to supply fasteners of various kinds, with a specialization in military-grade fasteners used by the electronics, aerospace, and defense sectors.
Since its inception, Electronic Fasteners has experienced significant growth and profitability. In 1965, the company relocated from a 3,500 square foot basement to a 20,000 square foot warehouse, further expanding to an additional 10,000 square feet in 1972. Today, EFI remains a family-owned wholesale stocking distributor of fasteners and related products, with five of the original founding families actively involved in the business. This ensures that the company benefits from generations of expertise in the fastener industry.
