About Seller: In 1960, a group of six families identified the growing demand in rapidly expanding high-tech industries for consistently superior electronic components. These industries not only required high-quality products but also expected their suppliers to comprehend their specific needs and offer services and product experts to assist them in meeting those needs. Consequently, Electronic Fasteners Inc. (EFI) was established in the same year in a small office in South Boston. The primary objective of EFI was to supply a wide range of fasteners, with a focus on military-grade fasteners utilized by the electronics, aerospace, and defense sectors. EFI experienced significant growth and profitability in its first year, prompting a move from a 3,500 square foot basement to a 20,000 square foot warehouse in 1965. This growth continued, with the warehouse expanding by an additional 10,000 square feet in 1972. Today, EFI remains a family-owned wholesale stocking distributor of fasteners and related products and services. Five of the original founding families are still actively engaged in the company, providing generations of expertise in the fastener industry.
