About Seller: In 1960, a group of six families identified the increasing demand for high-quality electronic components in the rapidly expanding high-tech industries. Consequently, Electronic Fasteners Inc. (EFI) was established in the same year in a small office in South Boston. The primary objective of EFI was to supply a wide range of fasteners, with a specialization in military-grade fasteners utilized by the electronics, aerospace, and defense sectors. EFI experienced significant growth, achieving profitability in its first year of operation. In 1965, the company relocated from a 3,500 square foot basement to a 20,000 square foot warehouse, later expanding the warehouse by an additional 10,000 square feet in 1972.
Presently, Electronic Fasteners, Inc. (EFI) remains a wholesale stocking distributor of fasteners and associated products and services. The company is still family-owned, with five of the original founding families actively participating in its operations.
