About Seller: EXCAL INC. was established as a result of the merger between two longstanding California foundries, Acra-Cast Foundries Inc. and Buckeye Brass Foundry Inc., both of which had been operating for over forty-five years. In 1990, Fred Harmon of Buckeye Brass proposed the idea of merging the businesses and relocating to a new facility in Wyoming to Acra-Cast owners Don and Dennis Harper. Following the merger, the two companies consolidated under the name EXCAL INC. and in December 1990, they acquired a twenty-five acre site in Mills, Wyoming, southwest of Casper. This location was strategically chosen for its access to a skilled labor force, reliable electric power, and convenient proximity to rail, interstate, and airline services. Production commenced in December 1991, and by March 1992, the foundry was operating at full capacity. Since then, EXCAL has experienced continuous growth and expanded its global presence.
