About Seller: General Assembly & Manufacturing Corporation is a contract assembler that specializes in a wide range of hand, power-assisted, and automated assembly and packaging operations. Established in 1977 and formally incorporated in 1979, we have been a trusted provider of assembly, packaging, and manufacturing services for over 25 years. Our facility is conveniently located approximately 40 miles northwest of Chicago, occupying 30,000 square feet within a 72,000 square foot building.
Our manufacturing capabilities include eyeleting orbital and press riveting, hand soldering, resistance welding, and ultrasonic welding. Additionally, we offer various bench assembly services such as gluing, staking, and forming. We also provide marking and decorating options like hot stamping and roll transfer printing, as well as secondary machining operations on both metals and plastics. Our packaging services encompass blister packaging, shrink wrapping, poly bagging, and other forms of product packaging.
To ensure quality and efficiency, we have implemented robust control systems. Inventory and processes are closely monitored by order and by customer. Work in progress, incoming materials, and outgoing products are meticulously inspected according to stringent quality assurance protocols, aiming to meet or exceed the expectations of our clients.
At General Assembly & Manufacturing Corporation, we handle a diverse range of products in terms of variety, size, and complexity. From assembling simple two-piece toys to intricate precision tools with multiple components, we have experience in fabricating and testing critical products like gas mask drink tube assemblies and respirator breathing circuits. We are proficient in working with components as small as a grain of rice, as well as handling larger items like office file cabinets. Our production capabilities can accommodate orders of various volumes, ranging from hand assembly of hundreds of pieces annually to fully automated assembly of several million pieces per year.
