About Seller: Granutech-Saturn Systems Corporation, formerly known as MAC (Mobile Auto Crushers) Corporation of America, was established in 1965 with the purpose of manufacturing auto flattening units and high-density balers for the scrap metal recycling industry. In 1980, in an effort to enhance customer service, MAC Corporation acquired the Saturn Shredder line of slow speed rotary shear type shredders. The fabrication of Saturn Shredders was integrated into the existing manufacturing facility of MAC Corporation a year later. In 1987, Granutech Environmental Systems introduced an advanced scrap tire reduction system designed to produce high-quality crumb rubber from steel-belted and bias-ply tires, efficiently granulating tires and separating rubber, steel, and fiber. This innovative technology was acquired by MAC Corporation of America in 1994, leading to the renaming of the company to Granutech-Saturn Systems Corporation.
