Advacam specializes in producing PCDs (Photon Counting Detectors) based on Timepix and Medipix technology developed for the LHC at CERN. The PCD technology offers significant advantages over traditional x-ray imaging, including high-contrast, high-resolution images with spectral information that allows for material-specific data to be displayed in color. Our imaging cameras are direct-conversion PCDs that accurately measure Temporal, Spatial, and Spectral information of all ionizing particles, including neutrons.
