About Seller: Founded in 1962 by John J. Salce, Hygrade Precision Technologies currently operates in a 40,000 square foot facility located in central Connecticut. We specialize in precision contract machining, grinding, and lapping services, positioning ourselves as a Single Source Metal Finisher with a wide range of niche services and complete machining capabilities. Our focus is on serving the higher technology markets of today while keeping an eye on our present and future goals. We cater to industries such as Aerospace, Automotive, Commercial, Homeland Security, Medical, and Power Generation. Our capabilities and services include CNC multi-axis machining, ID/OD grinding, flat lapping and grinding, as well as testing and inspection services including CMM inspection and surface temper etch services. Hygrade has been ISO approved since September 1997 and AS9100:2001 approved since November 2007. Additionally, we were initially approved by NADCAP in January 2004 for Aerospace quality system (AC7004) and Chemical Processing (AC 7108). NADCAP, which stands for National Aerospace and Defense Contractors Accreditation Program, is required by major companies such as GE, Rolls Royce, Boeing, Bombardier, Pratt and Whitney, and Sikorsky aircraft. Hygrade undergoes annual audits to ensure compliance with these standards.
