Since its inception, the company has been dedicated to delivering high-quality and cost-effective tooling solutions utilizing top-notch materials and technical expertise. By 1987, Ideal Carbide Die Company had expanded its capabilities to manufacture tooling using materials beyond tungsten carbide, establishing itself as a global supplier of tooling across various industries. In 1990, the company relocated to a new facility in Bolingbrook, Illinois, specifically designed to accommodate its growing capabilities and future expansion. In 1996, in line with its commitment to providing a safe work environment for its employees, Ideal Carbide Die became the sixth company in Illinois to receive the Safety and Health Achievement Recognition Program (SHARP) award from OSHA. By 1999, the company became only the third in Illinois to receive the award for three consecutive years, showcasing its exceptional safety programs that exceed standard OSHA requirements.
