In 1990, the company relocated to a custom-designed facility in Bolingbrook, IL to accommodate its enhanced capabilities and future expansion. In 1996, the company received the Safety and Health Achievement Recognition Program (SHARP) award from OSHA, making it the sixth company in Illinois to achieve this recognition. In 1999, Ideal Carbide Die Company became the third company in the state to receive the award for three consecutive years, highlighting its commitment to exemplary safety programs that exceed standard OSHA requirements.
