The Illinois Fibre Insulation Division also distributes and fabricates insulation and flexible air ducts for the HVAC markets.
Our company is structured around four divisions: IFSCO Furniture Parts Unlimited, which provides plastic molded parts, steel stampings, and assemblies for furniture and tubular products; IFSCO Coated Fabrics, a national distributor of vinyl coated fabrics; Illinois Fibre, fabricators of urethane foam for furniture, packaging, and acoustical applications, as well as suppliers of cotton, polyester, and related products to the upholstery industry; and Illinois Fibre Insulation Services, a distributor of insulation and accessories to HVAC wholesalers and sheet metal contractors, as well as fabricated products to the OEM market.
Established in 1946 by Chicago entrepreneurs Casimir Kasper and John Kasper, Illinois Fibre Specialty Co., Inc. was founded to address the need for quality, affordable cushioning products in the furniture industry. Over the years, the company has expanded its product offerings by partnering with vinyl fabric manufacturers, investing in machinery for plastic and metal parts, fabricating foams, felts, chipboard, and insulation products. With decades of experience, Illinois Fibre has built a vast library of dies, molds, and patterns for modern and retro furniture parts, as well as contemporary and traditional vinyl fabric patterns.
