About Seller: Established in 1961 in Chicago as Jackson Rubber Stamp Co., the company initially focused solely on rubber stamps. Over the years, the company underwent several transformations. In 1966, the product line expanded to include rubber-stamp manufacturing supplies and vulcanizers, prompting a name change to Jackson Rubber Stamp and Supply Co. The following year, the office was relocated to Schiller Park, a Chicago suburb. In 1975, recognizing the mail-order nature of the business, the company moved to Mt. Vernon, Illinois, in the southern part of the state. A new building was constructed to accommodate the growing enterprise. In 1980, the company rebranded as Jackson Marking Products Co. to better represent its expanding product line. With the closure of a vulcanizer supplier in 1983, Jackson Marking transitioned to producing precision presses. The product line for marking-industry equipment has since experienced significant growth. All machines sold by Jackson are manufactured at its facility, which has been expanded twice since the move to Mt. Vernon. Today, the company is a leading manufacturer of rubber stamps, a premier industry supplier of raw materials, and a respected equipment fabricator serving customers globally.
