About Seller: In 1961, Bryce D. Jewett, Sr. realized his entrepreneurial dream by establishing his own machine shop in Richmond, VA. He constructed a 4,000-square-foot facility, with the help of family labor including his son Bryce, Jr., known as Skillett. The foundational business culture instilled by Bryce, Sr. continues to be the cornerstone of the company today, despite significant changes over time. Skillett, who grew up in the business, assumed leadership in 1981. The facility has undergone two expansions on its original site and acquired additional space in nearby blocks. While maintaining a full range of traditional equipment, the majority of the plant's floor space is now occupied by cutting-edge CNC machinery. Jewett Automation specializes in providing advanced solutions for custom factory automation.
