About Seller: In 1961, Bryce D. Jewett, Sr. realized his entrepreneurial dream by establishing his own machine shop in Richmond, VA. With the assistance of family members, including his son Bryce, Jr. (also known as Skillett), he constructed a 4,000-square-foot facility. The foundational business principles instilled by Bryce, Sr. continue to serve as the cornerstone of the company, despite significant changes over the years. Skillett, who grew up within the business, assumed leadership in 1981. Over time, the original plant has undergone two expansions on its existing premises and acquired additional space nearby. While traditional equipment remains in use, the majority of the plant now houses cutting-edge CNC machinery. Jewett Automation specializes in delivering advanced solutions for custom factory automation. The company's enduring commitment to excellence and fairness is evident in its treatment of both employees and customers.
