About Seller: The core principle driving K-J's daily operations is "Quality + Care = Extraordinary Value." Founded in 1975 as Kay Jay Machine by Don "Stoney" Stonebrook, the company initially focused on manufacturing special fasteners. Over the past four decades, K-J has expanded its services to include in-house machining capabilities, becoming a comprehensive distributor and value-added center for a diverse range of products for various OEMs and end users. Presently, K-J consists of three SBUs (strategic business units): special fasteners and production components, inventory replenishment programs (stocking systems), and our latest division - kits and assemblies. Should you require outsourcing services for labor-intensive tasks such as bagging, assembling, sorting, fabricating, special packaging, promotional packets, or other secondary operations, our "K and A" facility can provide assistance. Our products are available in JIT programs to reduce costs related to procurement, expediting, storage, handling, and inventory maintenance. K-J is deeply engaged in the fastener industry, serving as founding members of the North Coast Fastener Association since its establishment in 1983. Members of our "K-J Team" have held leadership roles, served as trustees, and actively participated in committees to ensure the organization's success and growth. We are longstanding members of the National Federation of Independent Business, a watchdog for small-business political affairs. K-J is committed to growth with a forward-thinking approach. Our growth has been recognized on eight occasions with the Fast Track 50 Award from the Center for Business and Industry in Lake and Geauga counties between 1999 and 2009. In 2006, we were inducted into the Fast Track 50 Hall of Fame. Beyond fasteners, K-J is dedicated to community involvement and was the inaugural recipient of the Jack Miller Award for Outstanding Volunteer Organization for our partnership with Neighboring Mental Health Services. We also received a Certificate of Congressional Recognition and Achievement from Congressman Steve C. LaTourette for our collaboration with the Lake County ADAMHS Board.
