At KKSP, comprehensive and verifiable lot traceability is maintained for all raw materials and part manufacturing records. Material traceability encompasses detailed information on material origins and production history, along with confirmation of compliance with specifications. Our screw machining procedures strictly adhere to ISO/TS16949 protocols, following a meticulously designed, documented, and verified regimen to ensure consistent product quality. These protocols instill confidence in our customers that their parts are accurate and align with their specifications.
Internal protocols mandate machinists to verify their own work, allowing real-time process control. Cutting-edge touch-free gauging and attribute verification equipment are utilized by machine operators and our independent Quality Control Department at each facility to eliminate potential human error in critical dimension measurements. This data can be converted into Statistical Process Control (SPC) documentation for continuous process improvement.
A key component of our quality system is the innovative utilization of the production print as a living document stored electronically. All relevant information is easily accessible through the production print, regularly updated by our Engineering Department to reflect any part changes, customer directives, or routing adjustments.
