This 70 thousandths thin insulation is capable of withstanding temperatures up to 1200 F, surpassing the longevity of traditional glued insulation. Positioned between materials rated for 250 F and 2500-3000 F in the market, Koolmat Insulation offers a unique solution. Unlike glued materials that burn off due to exposure to heat, or ceramic materials that are unable to withstand moisture, Koolmat Insulation effectively blocks 1000 F of radiant heat. Its thin profile saves space, reduces sound, and offers resistance to abrasion and mildew. Additionally, it is flexible, able to bend back on itself and conform to contours. This composite material can withstand temperatures up to 1000 F without the use of glues or asbestos. It is easy to cut, and guaranteed not to crack, peel, dry out, curl up, split, or shrink for up to 30 years.
