About Seller: Leed Himmel Inc. was established through the acquisition of Himmel Bros. Inc. by Leed Architectural Products Inc. in 1989. The origins of Himmel Brothers Company can be traced back to 1909 when it started as a metal fabrication firm specializing in metal storefronts. The merger of these two companies has resulted in a unique corporation that can cater to a wide range of custom industrial and architectural requirements. Our manufacturing capabilities cover all aspects necessary for producing final products for the construction and design industry, offering a seamless 'one stop responsibility' service. Currently, Leed Himmel operates from a modern 120,000 square foot facility in Hamden, Connecticut, housing our advanced aluminum extrusion plant, anodizing and painting departments, and a 50,000 square foot fabrication area. The fabrication area is equipped with CNC cutting, punching, and forming machinery, including water-jet cutting capabilities. Our facility also features an anodizing line capable of handling materials up to 33 feet in length, as well as a horizontal paint line for both baked on fluoropolymer and powder coat finishes. Our paint facility can match and mix colors to specific requirements and is certified by PPG Ind., Sherwin Williams (Valspar), and Akzo Nobel. With our comprehensive service offerings and 'one stop responsibility' approach, we can deliver products, components, or assemblies ready for installation with guaranteed on-time delivery.
