About Seller: Leed Himmel Inc. was established through the acquisition of Himmel Bros. Inc. by Leed Architectural Products Inc. in 1989. The origins of the Himmel Brothers Company can be traced back to 1909 when it was a metal fabrication firm specializing in the production of metal storefronts. The merger of these two companies has resulted in a unique corporation capable of meeting a wide range of custom industrial and architectural requirements. Our manufacturing capabilities encompass all stages necessary for creating final products for the construction and design industry, offering a seamless 'one stop responsibility'. Presently, Leed Himmel operates from a modern 120,000 square foot facility in Hamden, Connecticut. This facility includes cutting-edge features such as an aluminum extrusion plant, anodizing and painting departments, and a 50,000 square foot fabrication area equipped with CNC cutting, punching, and forming machinery, including water-jet cutting capabilities. Our facility also boasts an anodizing line capable of anodizing materials up to 33 feet in length, as well as a horizontal paint line for baked on fluoropolymer and powder coat finishes, allowing for both automated and manual applications to ensure top-notch coverage and finish. Our paint facility has the capacity to custom match and mix colors according to specifications and is endorsed by leading companies such as PPG Ind., Sherwin Williams (Valspar), and Akzo Nobel. With our 'one stop responsibility' approach and comprehensive service offerings, we are able to deliver products, components, and/or completed assemblies ready for installation with promised delivery schedules. Our stringent quality control measures from the beginning to the end of the production process help minimize handling and processing delays, reduce rejections, and provide cost-effective solutions as a single processing supplier.
