About Seller: Leed Himmel Inc. was established in 1989 through the acquisition of Himmel Bros. Inc. by Leed Architectural Products Inc. The origins of Himmel Brothers Company can be traced back to 1909, when it operated as a metal fabrication firm specializing in the production of metal storefronts. The merger of these two companies has resulted in a unique corporation capable of meeting a wide range of custom industrial and architectural requirements. Our manufacturing capabilities encompass all the necessary elements for delivering a final product for the construction and design industry, offering a seamless 'one stop responsibility' approach. Presently, Leed Himmel operates out of a modern, 120,000 square foot facility in Hamden, Connecticut. This facility houses our cutting-edge aluminum extrusion plant, anodizing and painting departments, and a 50,000 square foot fabrication area equipped with CNC cutting, punching, forming equipment, and water-jet cutting capabilities. Additionally, we have an anodizing line capable of anodizing materials up to 33 feet in length, as well as a horizontal paint line for both baked-on fluoropolymer and powder coat finishes. Our paint facility can provide automated and manual finish applications, ensuring excellent coverage and finish. We are able to custom match and mix colors according to specifications and are certified by PPG Ind., Sherwin Williams (Valspar), and Akzo Nobel. With our comprehensive 'one stop responsibility' and full-service capabilities, we can deliver products, components, or finished assemblies ready for installation with guaranteed on-time delivery.
