About Seller: Luther D. and Emory H. Snyder founded the Littlestown Hardware and Foundry Company, Inc. with a team of sixteen employees, initially focusing on gray iron foundry operations including production, machining, painting, and plating of iron castings. During World War I, the company supplied castings for bearings and shafts to support the war effort. Over time, the company expanded its product line to include hardware items such as bench vises, flanges, hammers, book ends, fire place tools, and door stops in addition to a wide range of commercial castings. Presently, with a workforce of 95 employees, the company's primary focus is on the production of commercial aluminum castings, which accounts for over 90 percent of its business.
