These investments include: - 2006: Installation of a new Milling Saw, W80 Mill - 2008: Upgraded warehouse lighting for a more eco-friendly workspace - 2010: Implementation of a new computer system for operational efficiency - 2011: Upgrade of the W80 Large Structural Tubing Mill with a quick change cassette system - 2012: Installation of a new mid-size W50 Structural Tubing Mill and a new #8 Mechanical Tube Mill - 2013: Commenced production of A53 Grade B Tested Pipe, 4 sch 40 to 12” Extra Strong While many companies may consider these upgrades and installations sufficient for a lifetime, we are not done yet. In 2014, the following projects will be completed: - Introduction of the new #9 Mill designed for producing small round A513 mechanical tubing for the automotive industry - Launch of Maruichi Leavitt’s API 5L Line Pipe, designed for the energy industry starting at 4.5" round and going up to 12.75" round As our product line expands, our workforce at Maruichi Leavitt Pipe & Tube grows as well.
