About Seller: Oasis Off Road Mfg was founded in 1996 by John and Connie Williams to cater to the needs of off-road enthusiasts who utilize their vehicles on both highways and trails, adjusting their tire pressure for improved traction and performance during four-wheeling activities. Since its inception, the company has operated as a family-run business, with their children actively involved in learning and assisting with the operations from a young age. Recognizing the time-consuming and labor-intensive process of manually deflating large tires, John developed a deflation device that could be easily attached to the valve stem of a tire to automatically deflate it to a pre-set pressure, even while driving off-road. This led to the creation of the first generation of trailhead automatic tire deflators.
Expanding their product line, Oasis Off Road Mfg ventured into the development of air compressors in 2001 to address the need for high-performance compressors, resulting in the creation of the most powerful DC air compressor in the world. As the demand for their compressors grew across various industries beyond off-roading, the company rebranded to Oasis Manufacturing, Inc. in 2005, focusing solely on manufacturing air compressors after selling the deflator manufacturing rights.
