About Seller: Overton & Sons Tool & Die Company, Inc. was established in 1968 by Ruby Overton. Following eight years at Gentry Carbide Tool & Die in Indianapolis, which was later acquired by Talon Corporation, Ruby decided to start his own business. Specializing in carbide material, close tolerance, and detail-oriented work, Ruby laid the groundwork for his three sons to continue his legacy. Tragically, Ruby passed away in August 1986, leaving his sons to take over the business overnight. Ron, Steve, and Rick Overton each assumed roles based on their strengths: Ron as CEO focusing on sales and marketing, Steve as CFO managing finances, and Rick as President overseeing day-to-day operations. The company, originally housed in a small building in Mooresville, later expanded to include divisions such as Overton Mold and Overton Roll. In 1993, a new facility was built to accommodate the growing divisions. Over the years, additional divisions were added, including Overton Carbide Tool & Engineering in Franklin, IN, now known as Overton Industries � Tube Forming Systems after multiple expansions.
