ProChem, Inc. initially focused on the synthesis and purification of inorganic and organometallic chemical compounds for use in a wide range of commercial applications such as semiconductors, lasers, ceramics, and medical technology. Our collaboration with Lawrence Livermore National Laboratories (LLNL) since 1988 has led to the production of the highest purity Potassium Dihydrogen Phosphate (KDP) available, enabling the growth of crystals for the National Ignition Facility (NIF). Operating from a manufacturing site spanning over 25,000 square feet, ProChem manufactures high purity chemicals in the US and meticulously sources and tests raw materials to ensure the highest quality. Our production capabilities include 50, 100, and 200 gallon glass-lined reactors for high purity chemical production, as well as a hot oil system for high temperature reactions up to 230 degrees Celsius. With in-house analytical capabilities such as ICP-OES, AA, GC, FTIR, and HPLC, we minimize turnaround time between synthesis and shipping. Additionally, we utilize specialized external analytical laboratories for ultra-high purity analysis, including ICP-MS for trace analysis and XRD for conformational analysis. Our diverse product lines include high purity inorganic salts, precious metal chemicals, rare earth chemicals, metal foils, powders, and shot, as well as various metal and rare earth compounds. We are dedicated to meeting the evolving needs of our customers through expanding production capabilities, utilizing dedicated reactors, enhancing quality specifications, offering product-specific packaging, and providing custom blending services.
