About Seller: RMI was established in 1980 with the purpose of supplying aluminum, aluminum extrusions, brass, copper, bronze, stainless steel, and plastics to electronics companies in the Colorado area. Initially operating out of a 4,500 square foot rented warehouse space, RMI quickly built a strong reputation for providing high-quality service as a distributor for metal service centers. As demand grew, a 14,400 square foot warehouse and office were constructed in 1984, where the company is still located. RMI has supplied products to notable companies such as Ampex, Digital Equipment, Hewlett-Packard, Kaman, Kurt Manufacturing, Maxcor, Texas Instruments, Western Forge, and over 150 others. Many of these customers rely on RMI as a "Just-In-Time" supplier. Recognizing a need for quality extruders in the Rocky Mountain region, Richardson Metals made the strategic decision to develop in-house extrusion capabilities to support the company's growth. Specializing in small to medium runs requiring precision machining, RMI's team takes great pride in delivering top-notch products and ensuring customer satisfaction.
