Since 1978, SMC has invested in equipment capable of producing sophisticated cold formed parts, moving away from commodity type parts. The use of multi-station forming equipment, as well as shaving, drilling, roll forming, and thread rolling equipment, has enabled the conversion of screw machine parts to cold formed parts.
