About Seller: Bill Swager, the founder of Sur-Loc, initiated his rigging career in the 1930s and later established his own tower erecting company, now recognized as Swager Communications, Inc., in the early 1950s. Over time, his sons joined the business. In the late 1960s, a tragic incident involving a close personal friend falling to his death while setting up a 625-foot tower for the U.S. Navy motivated Bill to create the Climber's Buddy safety rails and hardware, as well as the Sur-Loc shackle with a secure locking pin. Sur-Loc, Inc. is dedicated to leading the industry in designing, developing, and producing climbing safety products for global distribution.
