The company's origins date back to the establishment of the Highland Buggy Company in Cincinnati in 1870. Over the years, Truck Cab has developed and enhanced its processes to evolve from wood build-up cabs to cutting-edge products used in the construction of modern fire engines, waste disposal trucks, and wreckers. Notably, Truck Cab was commissioned to produce the tank retrievers utilized during Operation Desert Storm in Saudi Arabia. Following the acquisition of Western Hills Fabricators in 1978, a facility equipped with advanced sheet metal fabrication capabilities, Truck Cab is able to manufacture all galvaneal, aluminum, and stainless steel parts designed by the company. Approximately 40% of Western Hills' output is supplied to other sheet metal and heavy weldment users. Situated in a 72,000 square foot facility in Cincinnati, Ohio, Truck Cab Manufacturers, Inc. continues to uphold its rich legacy by delivering top-quality truck cabs to the market.
