The Abell-Howe Foundationless Base Mounted Floor Crane was specifically designed for industrial use, necessitating only a 6-inch deep concrete foundation. This jib crane relies on epoxy anchor bolts and features a 360-degree rotation on a tapered roller bearing, enabling it to handle full capacity vertical and radial thrust loading. For installation, the concrete floor must be at least 6 inches thick and include wire mesh reinforcement, with minimum soil pressure of 2,500 psf and a minimum concrete compressive strength of 3,000 psi. The jib crane should be positioned at the center of a square foot area devoid of cracks, seams, control joints, and walls. Manufactured in the USA, standard Jib Cranes are available up to 1 ton capacity, with heights under the boom and spans reaching up to 16 ft.
