About Seller: In 1960, a group of six families identified the growing demand in rapidly expanding high-tech industries for consistently superior electronic components. These industries not only required high-quality products but also expected suppliers to have a deep understanding of their needs and to provide specialized services and products to help meet those needs. Thus, that same year, Electronic Fasteners Inc. (EFI) was established in a small office in South Boston. The company focused on supplying a variety of fasteners, with a specialization in military-grade fasteners used by the electronics, aerospace, and defense sectors.
Since its inception, Electronic Fasteners has experienced significant growth, achieving profitability in its first year of operation. In 1965, the company relocated from a 3,500 square foot basement to a 20,000 square foot warehouse, and further expanded the warehouse by an additional 10,000 square feet in 1972. Today, Electronic Fasteners, Inc. (EFI) remains a wholesale stocking distributor of fasteners and related products and services. The company is still family-owned, with five of the original founding families actively engaged in the business, providing generations of expertise in the fastener industry to serve customers.
