About Seller: LJ Fabricators, Inc. was established in Rockford, Illinois in June of 1983 by Larry A. Johnson. Initially located in a 6,000-square-foot building at the intersection of Grable and Kishwaukee Street, LJ Fabricators provided a range of metal fabricating services including shearing, punching, forming, sawing, rolling, spot welding, and MIG/TIG welding. The facility was expanded to 11,200 square feet in 1987, and in November of 1989, Larry recognized the need to enhance the services offered by acquiring a CO2 2-dimensional laser, capable of cutting materials up to .375 inches thick. Subsequent expansions in June of 1992 saw the addition of 3-dimensional laser cutting capabilities. With a commitment to increasing capacity, LJ Fabricators moved to a new facility in 1995, boasting over 39,000 square feet. Over the years, LJ Fabricators has continued to invest in cutting-edge equipment, including the purchase of Bystronic lasers and state-of-the-art brake presses. Today, with a team of over 35 manufacturing technology and support staff, LJ Fabricators remains dedicated to providing top-quality metal fabricating services.
